The Trusted Adult Training Programme is to strengthen support for young people through a new training pilot called Trusted Adults. It will help adults build the confidence, skills and understanding to develop safe, positive and supportive relationships with young people aged 11+.

Who is it for?
This training was developed as part of the Shropshire Youth Transformation Pilot. BizEd were given the opportunity to pilot the resources and gather feedback to support their development.
What will you gain?
This 2.5 hour course helps adult who volunteer or work with young people to understand what a trusted adult is to a young person and how this can impact their relationship or interactions.
What is the aimed outcome?
The aim of this course is to raise awareness and increase confidence of those who volunteer or work with young people.
Who makes this opportunity possible?
This project was funded by Shropshire Council and the Shropshire Community Foundation. It was delivered by the BizEd team - Annabel, Laura and Vicki.

At BizEd, we have experience of research, training and education and working with young people so can offer a professional training delivery experience and gather evaluation feedback.
