Our Shropshire Inclusion Network events are dedicated to celebrating and fostering inclusivity.
Unlike typical networking events, our gatherings offer a chance to recharge, think outside the box, and share space with individuals who have lived experiences. We encourage open dialogue, sharing new ideas, and practical tips that participants can implement in their workplaces to enhance inclusivity.
In July, we partnered with Enable Shropshire at the Shropshire Wildlife Trust for a morning filled with insights. Expert by Experience, Nicki Evans, shared her personal journey with mental health challenges and addiction. The event also featured a mindful doodling masterclass by local artist Gretel Parker, who revealed how her art was a lifeline through dark times.
In November, we focused on neurodiversity at Fordhall Farm. Emily led a farm tour that recharged and reconnected us with nature, followed by a coaching session highlighting Fordhall Farm's strong commitment to celebrating neurodiversity in the workplace.
