People, Planet, Pint: Sustainability Meetup

What is the Congress of People, Planet, Pint?

People, Planet, Pint is an organisation that brings individuals from a local community together to discuss and share personal thoughts and feelings on the happening of their local community, with a focus on sustainability. This organisation was established in Glasgow with its first event COP26, offering a relaxed and informal space for people interested in climate-related topics. 

COPPP28

On the 7th of February this year, we are planning a unified alternative COP28 event, with PPP’s all over the country at the same time, to give those who may be tired of the relentless news cycle somewhere to come and feel heard, and learn about local action they can get involved with. 

At COPPP28, there's no strict agenda, workshops, or webinars… Just the chance to chat over a few casual drinks with like-minded people who share your passion for a sustainable future.

Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning, and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally.

We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas.

After all, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink?

Anna Rose Bowler is the Marketing and Communications Lead at A Good Thing CIC, which is on a mission to send less to landfill and more to a good cause. Anna has worked with charitable organisations and small businesses since making a shift into the world of marketing following a ten-year career as a Geography teacher. She has always been passionate about finding ways to protect the planet and its people and wants to empower individuals and make the sustainability journey accessible to all.
